Just bought a new side by side GE refrigerator.  Had to remove the doors to get it into the house.  When reinstalling the doors and trying to get the thing working properly, I ran into two problems:

1) the right side door will not stay closed tightly.  I've adjusted the nut on the lower right side to level to door, but no matter what position I put it in, the door can pop open slightly when closing the freezer side.  And, it doesn't shut as tightly as the freezer when shutting normally sometimes.  The cam looks fine (basically it looks and feels exactly like the properly-functioning cam for the freezer door).

2) I can't get the water flowing from the freezer side door dispenser.  Very little ice had been made also.  As recommended, I've run the water for 2 minutes (sometimes even more than that) and it will not work.  There are no kinks in the line that I can detect at all.  When I put the doors back on, I was very careful the feed the tube through the existing hole.

Insight on this would be very much appreciated.

thanks, BD Weller

Does water flow normally out the valve in the back?

Is the unit installed. 10 degrees leaning back? Should be.

The doors are normal to pop open ajust a bit if the other is clesed fast, but if good cam and leaning back it should   Automatically move back into place.
