Hello -

I am receiving a E1 error code on my LG LDF8072ST.

Background - I disconnect the dishwasher to install new door springs.

Once the drain hose, water supply and electric were reconnected and the dishwasher moved back into place with the legs leveled, I powered it on.

It immediately displayed the E1 error message and cannot get the E1 error to stop.

Any ideas?  your help is very appreciated!  Even if I could get the unit into test mode, maybe that would be helpful but it is stuck in this E1 error mode.  As soon as  I power on, blinking lights, E1 error, beeping and pump runs, with nothing to drain.

Thank you.

This is the same one that you posted about back in January? Why not add it onto the same thread instead of starting new one? easier to follow history.

Hello -

Thanks for the reply.  The January issue was after the new garbage disposal.  This one is after I uninstalled reinstalled.  In January I know I may have had a water overflow issue due to sudsing, for this one I dont know how that would be the case.  Yes I did copy the error as the LG loves the E1 error.

Did you double check wires to make sure noting got disconnected during your repair. Did sensor get knocked loose?

Hello All -

The Dishwasher is thankfully working again!!

Like in January, I directed a fan under the unit and now it works.  There must have been water spillage into sensitive areas when I pulled it out to fix the hinge springs and ropes.

Thanks for the help.
