So, I am trying to request a service manual. I guess my status is not good enough, or I cannot figure out how to post on that forum. Can I get help?

I saw another post a Legacy Tech made , seemed to say he could only post in the Appliance Repair Tech forum. I'm not sure what the policy is. Does it not let you make a post in Manual Requests?

Legacy Tech is a free tech membership with some limitations, one of them is that you may not post service manual requests (although you may search and download manuals).

However, if you’re active enough here and post enough helpful replies for other techs, you can earn an Appliantology Fellowship which is one of our premium memberships.

For more details, see this blog post: https://appliantology.org/blogs/entry/1010-free-tech-membership-at-appliantology/

We also recently sent out a newsletter on this: http://eepurl.com/dy43yX

If you’re not getting our newsletter, you’ll want to subscribe because we often publish things of interest to the general tech community: http://appliantology.org/announcement/20-newsletter/

So, contrary to being “out of luck”, you are 100% in luck because you’re not only getting a free limited tech membership, you have a pathway to earning a premium tech membership by merely participating in the forums.
