What is the recommeded maintenance for a central ac system?

change the filters, oil the condenser and evap motors with quality zoom oil,use a good quality cleaner for the a coil such as vapco foaming  FCC1 non rinse, use brite alum for the outside unit, follow all package directions, and your central ac will work fine for years.

The Force wants me to add that while yer doin all that it couldn't hurt to clean the drain pipe.
