LG Washing Machine won't power up after simple repair

Most likely...

Recent electrical work done in the home (for something else)...led to an error/mistake at the whole house fusebox/circuit breaker.

Most places don’t allow returns on electronic controls, especially fried ones...

Sometimes it truly is cheaper to hire a professional technician. ?

Yep had several calls where they want you to mop up after they can't fix it or they screwed something up. I stopped doing it. Call me first or don't call me at all. Also get the calls wanting free repair advice on the phone. Tell them that I would have to look at it and that is going to cost a service fee.
