Kitchen aid kudc03ivbl3 DW lights flashing

My KitchenAid kudc03ivbl3 dish washer lights are flashing.  It started for my daughter while I was out of town.  I had her flip the wall switch to power it down.  Now, I power it up and the Normal wash cycle LED was flashing.  I held Cancel and now both Cancel and Normal wash are flashing.  I had just replaced the control panel 2 years ago.  I fear that it is the same part.

Is there a reset sequence on this touch pad control?  Is there a test sequence?

Count the number of times the lights flash. You can find a technical guide behind the service panel that will tell you what kind of problem you have based on the number of flashes and which light it is. It can also indicate a shorted key on the key pad.

Where do I look for that technical guide?  It wasn't inside the control panel.

Nevermind.  Found it.

It had been behind the kick plate.

The kick plate is the service panel I was referring to.
