Heating element won't heat

:?  Hi, I have a kitchen aid dishwasher model #KUDS01IJBS0 and it refuses to heat. I replaced the element and the control panel that came with the element. The wire end was burnt and I also replaced it. Could some thing else have burnt out along with the element? How do you access and read the diagnostic codes? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Chris

Start by checking for continuity from the W-R wire (white with a red stripe) at P6 on the control board to the neutral connection in the power junction box, underneath the dishwasher. If that circuit is open, no heatum.
