Whirlpool WRT348FMES00 Refrigerator Diagnostics

Parts List (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1Ym_eKcBMmg6Q9bHeKG5MmAfKuDr6jaWs)

Tech Sheet (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1uZOJ32Hy9-8yKRY_jsXtQsvpYXmTQHJN)

PROBLEM: Can not get this unit to enter Service Diagnostics Mode per the Tech Sheet. Please see video (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1SExmJh9CnBRa1DH-sR7uSJiwr0vP6eV1). (Please note that for some reason this video will not play directly in Google Chrome, you will need to download it first.)

Sought diagnostics mode to troubleshoot issue of food freezing in RC.

I have contacted Whirlpool with all the above information. Their response: 'We apologize that we do not have a technical department that could assist with your question'.

I have consulted with technicians on other appliance repair forums.

I have replaced the RC thermistor (although resistance vs. temperature measures of the original and new part proved to be the same). I have also replaced the Control Box per Service Pointer W10902061 (https://drive.google.com/open?id=1zaQqwxuDVi-spE998nKJoaAER8rji2zV).

None of these efforts have solved the original problem: the unit will not enter Service Diagnostics Mode.

So I have two questions:

* Has anyone actually ever got one of these units into diagnostics mode?
* Any suggestions on how to resolve this issue?
