Manufacturer: Wascomat
Type of Appliance: Dryer
Model Number: DAWS2ENM
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): No
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

Tried validating model numberon Repair Clinic but no love.

Two dryers stacked. Lower unit does not turn on. When pushing start (hi/med/low), I hear a relay click. With door open it will indicate 'DOOR'. Did obvious test of belt, no drum restriction, checked heater, thermostat/fuse.

Upper unit is powers the shared control assemby. If I unplug the upper unit, no power to control assembly.

If the upper unit is running and press start on lower unit I hear a relay click at the control, as well as what sounds like a solenoid from the back of the unit.

Ran across this unit while repairing Bosch washer and have not commited to repair, but no one in area services Wascomat (including me obviously), but figured I would give it a run and see what I can find out about it.

Thanks Bob. I did register and looked for the model but could not find it either. I have a picture of the nameplate with model and serial, so possibly it isn't loaded up yet. The unit is not very old, from what the cutomers say, it is less than two years. But this is coming from the receptionist at a retirement facilty, so who knows.

I will call them directly tomorrow.

Thanks for trying Bob!
