GE Monogram Side by Side

Recommended Posts

I have a GE Monogram side by side (AKA "the herpes of refrigeration") totally stroking out again. This time, the freezer is often near 15 degrees and the fridge is often near 30 degrees. So, yes - the ice cream is soft and the lettuce is frozen. Overnight, the freezer may go down to 3-4 degrees or so, but the fridge is still below freezing.

Totally annoying too. I had a GE service call scheduled for today, but GE literally called me and told me the tech called out all week in pursuit of being an instagram model, or something like that.

Any help appreciated. GE told me next potential service call will be in about two weeks. I'm seriously over this fridge, but don't feel like shelling out 5-6k for a new one.

Namaste.
