Samsung Washer model WA5451ANW/XAA 02 stalls between functions

I have a Samsung Washer model WA5451ANW/XAA 02 (S/N: Y0IX54BBB01721A) that stops between functions like draining.

It will stop for 10 minutes or so then start again later.

It always finishes the wash but at the start of washing the load is supposed to take 1:10, but in reality due to all the stopping and sitting there doing nothing it takes almost 2 hours to finish a load.

Got any ideas what this could be?

I'll give you a quick one you can check.

Push down on the spin basket real hard and fast and release it. See if it bounces up and down. If it does your suspension rods need replacing.

Make sure you are using the proper detergent and amount of detergent as well.

Thanks,

Gave that a try a few times. Suspension seems OK, no bouncing like bad car shocks.

Any other ideas?

Look to see if you have a little tech booklet taped to the back of your machine.

In it you will find instructions on how to retrieve error codes.
