When the front left burner is turned on, all burners continue to fire even after left front is lit. Has been getting worse.

Local repairman will not touch a DCS so maybe some of you can help. At least a starting point.

Thanks,

CaptRD

good starting point would be providing us with a model number

Need model but in general on DCS the simmer orifice gets clogged and the simmer ring doesn't light.  If the simmer ring doesn't light the flame won't contact the igniter and the spark module will "think" the flame isn't on and will keep sparking.

It's a DCS range Model # RGS=305ss and serial # D3K39488C .Left front lights ok but all burners continue to fire.

Is the simmer orifice clogged?

David- Thanks for the help. The problem was a clogged orifice. Everything working fine again with much less clicking.

Thanks again,
