I have a koce500ess01 microwave/oven combo.

Originally the oven worked fine and the microwave wouldn't work.

The MW would say the door must be opened and closed, then I would also get a code of F6E8, which doesn't seem to be listed for this model.

I replaced the door switch assembly and also found the line fuse was shorted, I replaced the fuse and re-tested.

No more door error but 1 second into starting it pops the line fuse and you can hear it, the display says its "Cooking".

I have tested continuity through the wiring and no shorts or issues, I tested the safety fuses and the magnatron, all good.

What can be shorting the line fuse this way and causing this problem?

Plz help!!

Check microswitch at the door first there should be 2-3 on the right and 1-2 on the left. If they pass the continuity test / check wires to ground/ you can check the meg by simply unplugging it and running a the MW see if it still blows a fuse/ check mfd on capacitor/ check pcb and noise filter for visual burn outs. Best of luck.
