Grinding noise when 12 year old Maytag clothes washer agitates.

I have a older Maytag traditional clothes washer that has started making a grindin noise during the agitation phase.  I replaced the belt under the machine and when spinning it is quiet. Change over to agitation, and it get noisy.

I thought that I added the mod. # in the Original post, but no joy.
