have a Heartland 3500 Legacy cooktop.  One control is a little sticky.  Is there a way in to clean that?

Control? Dial/knob?

controll typically refers to electronic board of some sort.

if dial once something gets inside there is not much you can do.

take a q-tip or similar and clean debris around shaft just light cleaner or water

yea, heat dial.  There is no access visable or set screw to the dial.  Guess I'll see if I can find a pictorial expanded service view.

Replace the switch
