Manufacturer: Whirlpool
Type of Appliance: Washing machine
Model Number: WFW9500TC01
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): Yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): Yes

hello I'm needing a manual / tech sheet on this washer please.

Someone posted a link to one here years ago- but it was at "service matters" and would not let me in.

It will give an f 21 code sometimes and sometimes says suds.

the homeowner has already cleaned debris from the pump on previous occasions and it only works intermittently.

How does one know if a similar model is close enough or not as far as tech sheets?

I got on a job the other day with a manual that was not exact for a Haier  refrigerator, and it had the old school defrost timer instead of a board as the manual showed.

We actually have this one uploaded to the site already -- you can find it by searching with a truncated model number using the "*" wildcard character. Like this: WFW9500T*

As for telling what tech sheet is for what model, that can be hard sometimes. Manufacturers will put out a tech sheet that applies to several very different looking model numbers. The best practice is to search our Downloads section using a truncated model number, like I showed.

Even better is if you can find the publication number for the tech sheet you need. We include the pub number in the description of every file on the site (when possible), so searching that way is pretty surefire.

Thank you Sam I did try the wild card and all I came up with was the one I talked about that I couldn't get into. I will try it again.

Make sure you limit your search to the Files section using the drop down menu from the search bar. That way, the only results that will pull up are downloadable files.
