Maytag combination wall oven with microwave

Recommended Posts

I have a Maytag wall oven model JMW8330DAS. We smelled an electrical burn. The oven would come on (display as well, and click)but would not heat and the microwave wouldn’t even light up the display. After accessing the control board area I looked towards the back and could see that the terminal block had blown the L1 (red) lead right out of the terminal block. Ordered new terminal block but unfortunately it didn’t come with the little circuit board that goes over both hot leads and the neutral. I didn’t see any board on any part breakdowns for the terminal block circuit board. Is it necessary? If so can you give me the part #. Also bought a new control board thinking it was it before I looked further. I thought I would wait to make sure after I repair the terminal block that the old control board is ok. Thank you

Called a parts house call Whirlpool and they don’t  show it either. Hooked it up without it and now everything works great. I’ll be taking the control board back. Never hooked it up.
