Control board keep blowing on Viking VCSB483 fridge

Hi all,

As background, maybe about a month back I noticed the interior non-LED lights on our Viking VCSB483 fridge dimming/flickering.  Didn't think much of it until one night I heard the fridge making clicking noises and the interior fan trying to spin up and dying (as if someone is connecting/disconnecting power wires), and that was when I discovered that the fridge wasn't cooling anymore.  Next day I I gained access to the control panel and upon turning it on I could hear the relays clicking there.

So, based on some suggestions, I replaced the main control board (one without the LED display), hooked everything back up, turned the fridge back on, and for about 30 seconds the lights seemed fine (though the compressor didn't spin up).  However, after that, I heard a light pop and I was back at square one.  From what I could tell, the "pop" came from the transformer on the main control board (was rather warm to the touch after less than a minute of being connected).  So after that, I decided to take a look at the inverter.  Upon taking it apart, I could tell that the two large capacitors that are on that board are bulging.

So at this point, I am willing to replace all three main electrical components (main control board, secondary control board, and inverter).  But I am still wondering if there could be something else that could cause me to have the problem that I am having.  And with that, I guess my follow-up question is, what would cause a transformer to blow the way that it did.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks
