Whirlpool Refrigerator Door hinge and fan

Whirlpool Refrigerator Model # ED5VHEXVQ00

Our Whirlpool Refrigerator’s lower door hinge (on refrigerator side, not freezer) seems to be bad.  A few months ago the door would kind of spring back to closed when you shut the door.  Now it will sit just barely open and you always have to push it closed now or it will stay open about an inch.  I noticed what look like black bearing debris on the floor just below the lower hinge.  Is this hinge easy to replace?  If not, I can live with it as We always push it shut now.

Also need the fan in the back.  It is a bit noisy.

There is a lower door hinge cam riser kit to replace both, one on the hinge plate and the other on the door.

RE: the noise fan in back - unplug fridge, spin the fan blade to see if the noise repeats, if so, check the fan blade and the fan guard for any obstructions, if none, replace fan motor.

If the noise does not occur when you spin it manually, remove power to the fan motor. If noise is still heard it may be the compressor making the noise, in which case you should have your fridge looked at by a professional repairman.

Hi Scott,  do you have the cam riser kit # ??  I'm pretty sure the majority of this series model are all typical for the most part.  I had been buying The upper and lower cams for the door separately and it sounds like you mentioned you know of a kit that will have the upper and lower cams for the door.     Or  are they calling it a kit scott because it comes with the screw ??  and the upper and lower cams will still come in separate packages with  separate part #'s .

i dont have the part number off hand, but the kit comes with a few cams - both hinge and door, a couple of screws, and a couple of mesh shims.
