maytag gas range (mgr4452bdb) 2 beeps when push bake

Hi all. Been quite a while since I was in here. Massive changes. Will need to look around to take it all in....

Now on to the problem. Maytag range, after years of difficulty with the push buttons on controls, finally would not adjust oven temp any more. Oven would work but only on the default 350 degree setting. Being the dutiful husband I did some research and found that the oven controls are problematic and become unreliable after many years. Solution was to buy a new panel and install. Worked two times one weekend. Naturally was very happy that it was fixed....or so I thought. Tried two days ago and push bake and get 350 degrees display but did not start the countdown timer on the preheat. Figured I had gotten a bad board. So reinstalled the old board to prove the theory and now with the original board get 2 beeps when push bake and no other action. Clock and timer seem to work normally.

Any and all help is appreciated. Obviously need this fixed before Thanksgiving or will be eating at Golden Corral or Lubys Cafeteria, both are to be avoided.

Sounds more like a touchpad then the board, stuck key or something?

do you have the tech sheet should be on the appliance. It may indicate. A way to test the touch pannel

oh wait its all in one board on this model.

well as odd as that is it seems you would have a bad board.

you have a very simple range and the board is about all the electronics in that thing

check door switch operation

oven sensor for 1080ohms and room temp ( or close)

check for shorted ignitor.

All good replace board
