I jumped the T & H connections to put the icemaker into harvest and got nothing.

I checked the voltage to the icemaker and only got 95 volts

At this time I ran my 120volt test cord to the water inlet solenoid and it was good

The customer told me he replaced the seeing eye board for the icemaker

I ran into this problem one other time before I knew about you guys and gave up on it.So I'm hoping this is a common problem with a common solution.

Yours trully, Dan The Appliance Man

Why do we not start with the REPAIR MANUAL for this system, then get back with any questions?  ;)  Assume you had the door switch closed since this would kill the system when the door is open.

The repair manual was very helpful. It seems that the problem would be with the emmiter/reciever board or a connection to or from them.I'm leaning toward a connection as the customer replaced the boards already and I'm only getting 95 volts to the white and black/white wires feeding voltage to the icemaker itself.Any further advise would be helpful.Thanx Dan

P.S. yes I had all the door switches closed when I was at the customers house and taking voltage readings.

Remove the right board and jump the white and black/white wires and see if you can jump start the ice maker with the door switch pushed in...also have you looked at the wires in the hinge area to see if they might be damaged???

I'll have to take the service manual when I go back to the customers house and run the diagnostics which will be tommorow or Fri..after looking at the wiring diagram wouldn't I jump the black and black/white wires on the  reciever board being the white is neutral and already going to the icemaker directly?Thanx for all your help.I'll let you know how it goes..........Dan
