SubZero 590.  Replaced ice maker about 3 years ago.  Worked great, got lots of use.  Found it was no longer making ice, bought replacement.  Worked great for about 2 days, then strange issues.

 

When I do a test cycle, the dial seem "caught" in one position and does this back and forth motion.

 

Is the 2 day old ice maker defective?

 

Also, the water valve does not seem to activate when I test at the test points.
