Hi,

The above oven is a free standing oven and grill. When either the oven or grill is turned on the igniter glows, but the burner does not fire up.

Intermittently it will work. Unsure what is common to both the oven and grill, or what I need to test to verify what needs to be replaced.

Many thanks

These type glow bars are very common to glow but not enough. I would try one first.  When I looked up the glow bar online it appears that it is the same type as most Frigidaire gas stoves use , it would be way cheaper if you can splice wires. Most universal igniters come with the ceramic wire nuts to do that.

Thanks for this. Would this also be the same reason the grill is experiencing the same fault?

Do have the part number for the Frigidaire igniter? So I buy the correct one?

5303935066    I would replace one and see if it takes care of it ,  then if it does ,replace the other . it is a little strange for both to fail at the same time , but my rule of thumb is to always replace the igniter first. Every great once in awhile you will be the unlucky one ,but the odds are in your favor.  All this is assuming you have proper gas getting to the oven

Would you happen to be able to point me to instructions on removal of the old igniter? I get get to the assembly, but can't figure how to remove it!
