Frigidaire Front Load Model #GLTF2940FE1 Not starting

Hi all, I am remotely (we are in different states) trying to assist my daughter resolve a new issue with her washer which is a Frigidaire Front Load Model #GLTF2940FE1. She and husband are very mechanically capable. The original symptom was that the washer stopped running in the middle of a wash cycle. I have some experience with appliance repair though most recent years but most recently work exclusively on HVAC. After unloading the clothes and draining the washer they were told the pump was bad (the was not jammed and it pump spun freely). The pump was replaced, The empty washer will not start. I assume the first thing to occur would be to fill with water. This is not happening. I did clarify that the door does lock. When the start button is pressed there is a clicking but the washer does not start to fill or show any other sign of life except the clicking. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thank you

Sounds like bad door latch/lock.

If you remove the top you should find tech sheet with diagnostics tests.
