Westinghouse Virtuoso RS645T ice maker not working

Recommended Posts

Hi,

Looking for some guidance ?

The crushed ice LED on the water dispenser display is slowly flashing. Water and ice delivery is OK, but no new ice is made and dropped into the container.

What does the flashing LED (crushed ice) mean?

I have tested the cable between the Ice maker unit and the control board and there are no open wires.

I have pressed the reset on the ice maker unit and no difference. The part number on the unit is NTGN014S01 which looks to be discontinued part 5989JA1001

Is there a way I can test the ice maker unit and if it is faulty what would the equivalent part number?

Many thanks

Dave
