Frigidaire dishwasher doesn't fill

Hello, 6-year-old Frigidaire dishwasher doesn't draw much water at inlet. Seems valve shuts off fast. Checked solenoid, good continuity.

This model doesn't seem to have float assy.

Would love your help on this.

How do I get at the chopper on this model? I think there's water but no pressure

Thanks a lot Joney. Do I get at chopper from inside the tub? I took out filters and spray pipes and I dont see any more screws and dont see how to get further into tub innards

Update pressure switch and hose seem fine. Tested

Posted

Update: all good. Thanks a bunch Joney.

I tested pressure switch as follows: removed hose at circulator pump. The switch has 3 contacts numbered 1 2 3. 2 and 3 are wired. Test continuity across 1 and shows infinity.  While blowing into hose measurement goes down to 0 and you hear switch click. Holding hose closed with needle nose keeps that reading. Release and back to infinity.

So, switch works. However it clicks after very little water drawn into machine. I changed pressure setting as follows: there are 2 white plastic screws on one flat side of switch. I turned the central one a quarter rev clockwise and presto d/w fills properly.

Thanks again Joney for leading me to the switch as the culprit! We can dine at home again after 2 messy days tripping over dirty dishes.

Above I meant test continuity across terminals 1 and 3
