FPMC3085KFB wall combo, microwave access?

Recommended Posts

I need to check out a microwave oven.  Unusual noise, now no heat.
My question is, do I have to pull the whole oven / microwave out of the wall?
Perhaps there is access if the control panel is removed, but I don't think so.
I plan on looking at the unit for the first time tomorrow, but am hoping for a heads-up.

Yes, I am aware of the HV hazard.  I am a ham radio operator and familiar with the HV safety procedures.

Saludos

its possible if you just remove the trim kit around the microwave , that the microwave may just slide out after that.   I dont think the microwave is attached at any point to the oven. Its possible but I dont think it is.  Sounds like you just need a new mag and diode.   good luck

Thanks Darren,

There is a mounting frame installed on top of the oven and the microwave is mounted to it.  Very difficult to reach the screws.
