I tried to reverse my dryer door using these instructions, but the door guide screw (outlines in red in the attached photo) dropped down inside the door/front assembly and I can’t retrieve it. What replacement part (screw) do I need to fix this? TIA!US_Ans_HA_DRY__DV457EVGSGRAA1-2017_-Drye

They doesn’t  list a part number for the screw.

I would think you could find a screw that would work or you could omit the screw since all it really does is hold the door in place for disassembly and assembly. If you omit it you would want to warn anybody who services it so they don’t drop your door even though I can’t think of ever taking the door off other then to replace the hinge or reverse to door.

You could also pull the front off and retrieve the screw, it only takes a few minutes to do. Just take the top off by removing the screws on the back, remove the control panel by pulling up and forward and set to the side, remove the 4 screws under where the control panel was holding the front panel on, lift up on the front panel to get over the tabs that hold it in place or bend them down with a screw driver (just remember to bend them back up), remove the connector for the door switch, set front panel aside, then you should be able to find the screw.
