Kenmore Electric Dryer 110.68132413

I have a Kenmore Electric Dryer model 110.68132413 that's not getting any power to the control panel or the drum light.

Outlet and power cord are good.

Continuity from the power cord to the control board [Black Line 1] and motor [Red Line 2] are both good.

The wiring diagram is missing from the dryer.

I'm not experienced with live voltage testing so I would appreciate any pointers you guys could give me.

Once again, the control panel will not light up at all.

Thanks

Check for proper power at terminal block (where power cord connects) from the outer 2 terminals you should read 240 volts, from one outer to the center should read 120 volts

Hi sh2sh2,

I didn't get 120 volts or 240 volts from the terminal block.

I plugged another dryer into the same outlet, and that dryer worked perfectly.

Thanks for replying

Sounds like bad dryer cord. If power at outlet and none at terminal block.
