GE Coin Gas Dryer DCCD330GD3WC - "Dangerous" burner turning on while it is off.

I just changed the motor, it was what GE says to use, all wiring color coded and connectors the same as I took out.  The new motor works great you put the coins in and it runs perfect.  This is a model  DCCD330GD3WC  Coin operated gas dryer.

The problem. If you open the door, the unit stops as it is supposed to do.  With the door open the burner and motor are both off (correct).  But if you close the door, the motor is still off (correct, it turns back on after you press the "start button" on the control panel),  But the burner turns back on within a minute while this door is closed (without pushing the start button), the motor, drum, fan are not on.  This is very Dangerous.

I am guessing I might have damaged something else in the motor change.  My guess it is a short, bad control board or maybe the timer in the coin slot housing.  BTW, I did a continuity check on the door and belt safety switches, both good.  Also went through all connections and wiggled to insure they making contact.

Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this issue?

Thanks in advance for any help.

yep, another example of how calling a technician from the start can actually be cheaper. Lords only knows what you’ve done.

Burner should only get power if the motor is running and centrifuge switch is thrown.

Bad motor with that switch permanently closed?

test points M1 and M2. Should be open with motor not running.
