I applied to become a legacy member, but I don't know when my app will be looked at. I ordered a service kit and it did not come with the instructions. It looks like it is just a simple plug in job, but I don't want to miss anything. Does anyone know if the instructions have any pertinent information? I ordered a W10823804 kit, but the prior model was in the box W10439326

I documents are available on this thread, but I'm not able to download until my application is looked at.

The ones in the thread you scoped out are very generic. It literally just says plug in all connectors from control and make sure you reattach the inverter grounding screw. It also alludes to how much of a nightmare trying to maneuver this out and then back in as it sits flush against the bottom left of the machine compartment between the 12 pin plug and the wall. Have fun, and good luck!

Whirlpool parts do not come with instruction sheets in the box anymore - you have to read the info on the part label and go to the website listed and enter the part number to get the instructions if they exist for the part.

Here's the site listed on the part label: http://www.servicematters.com/instruct

They have instructions for part# W10823804 but not for W10439326
