I am having trouble understanding diagnostic cycle on diagram.  Can anyone help me?

Each column of the cycle represents a different time interval that the test cycle will run through. The row labeled INTERVAL TIME shows how long each interval is. All the rows under LOADS show which loads are activated during which intervals. You'll notice that errors are displayed at the beginning and the end of the cycle.

Does that make sense?

Once you invoke Diagnostic Cycle does it step thru each interval automaticaly? Notes seem kind of confusing. Also how do you know what interval you are in?

Yes. That's what the interval times are for -- they show how long the machine should stay in each step before moving onto the next one. You can also press Start/Resume to skip to the next interval.

The rows under CYCLE, OPTION, AND STATUS LEDs show which lights will be on during which step. That's your best way of determining which interval you're in.
