Hi there - I've been dealing with this error on my Samsung refrigerator (or really, ignoring it) for a little while now.   It doesn't make any ice, and doing a reset of the ice maker itself doesn't trigger it to fill the ice maker.   After troubleshooting, I replaced the water inlet valve and still get the same behavior.   The temperature of the ice maker area seems to be well below the threshold to make ice...  anything else I should try before replacing the entire ice maker?   Seems like a fairly easy repair, but before I drop another $100, figured I'd ask some experts. :)

Thank you!

Samsung diagnostics are pretty robust. If the 39e error returns after attempting a reset then the ice maker has failed and needs to be replaced.

Much appreciated! I'll get a new ice maker on the way.
