ignitor failure

Motor runs, but ignitor does not come on.  All thermostats check out ok.  Coils check out ok.  Flame sensor shows continuity; Could it be the electronic control module?  Or should I make some voltage checks?  where?  Please enlighten me.

Locate the power wire harness connector for the burner assembly and detach it. You're going to measure the voltage at the non-burner side of that harness, you're looking for 120vac. If no-gotty, then jump right to the thermal fuse and check continuity. If you need more specific, post your wiring diagram.

Can you send me a generic picture of where I am to disconnect the wire harness.

It's a two-wire harness that you locate by simply following the wire pair that leaves the burner area. Lots of times they're blue and white, but that may not be the case for your dryer. For example, in the picture below:

You can see the blue and red two-wire harness on the upper right-hand side, running along the gas supply tube to the gas burner.

:yikes::yikes:Thanks.  It was the thermal fuse!  I was absolutely sure I had checked it out, but I guess I had missed it.  Kudos to you.
