Evening all, I have an option to get a frigidaire model or a magic chef as a spare fridge.

Have listed both models, which one would be a better choice in terms of long life and complexity?

Thanks for the help.

I had a Frigidaire top mount that we bought 13 years ago. I had to replace it this year, but I got 13 problem free years out of a $600 refrigerator. Plus, they are relatively common and parts for repairs are generally inexpensive and easily available. Just my $0.02.

Magic Chef used to be a Whirlpool brand but not anymore. Out of those 2 choices I would go with the Frigidaire .
