I have a gas Kenmore elite model 110.76962501 gas dryer. The problem I am having is the darn thing is not drying. I opened the bottom cabinet panel exposing all of the elements and found that roughly 20-30 seconds after starting it up the heating coils start to glow followed by the ignition of the burner. When the flame comes on it seems pretty strong but it will only stay on for another 30-45 seconds before being cut off. Lately I have to put the cloths in 2 or 3 times on a full 70 minute cycle to get them to finally dry. Usually after the 1st attempt they come out absolutely soaking wet but a little warm. If anyone out there has any recommendations or tips of things I can do to resolve this it would be greatly greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for any help!!

Try running it without the vent hooked up , sounds like a vent problem somewhere from the back of the dryer to outside.

Sound like a airflow issue. Check the coming out of the dryer with vent disconnected. Them check the airflow from the vent exit.
