Both freezer and frig are not cooling. Internal light operates on both sides,  I dont believe the compressor is running, digital display is flickering inside the frig, water/ice dispener panel is dead.

I pulled away from the wall, un-pluged and pluged back in. Still dont think the compressor is coming on, but appraently some kind of water valve is cycling since the water line jumps as I plug it back in.

Hopefully a common part impacting all of the above. Frig has operated perfectly since we purchased new.

The controls being dead concerned me, but will get a better check on the compressor and condenser fan operation later this afternoon.

Thanks for the part number and tip, I'll check it out tonight for sure.  I was able to find a video that shows the location,  seems pretty simple to swap out.

Confirmed that the condenser fan and the compressor are not coming on. I pulled the board and it does not show any physical signs of heat or other damage such as swollen capacitors.

I'd post pics , but it doesn't appear I can upload pics from my phone.

Fuse is also good on the board.

I stand corrected, multiple caps were bulging at the top although nothing physically burned. Replaced board, ops check good.

Thanks again for the tip.

Glad to hear. I have run into a lot of those. So when I read your issue I knew for sure that was your problem.  Thanks for the update.
