Whirlpool OTR Micro/convection oven, Convection fan repair

Since a number of WP brands all share the same design, I'm wondering where the motor is located for the convection fan.  I use mine often and noticed the heating element glowing but the fan was not moving.  Hate to pull this thing out before having some clue as to what to expect.  Anyone tear into one of these for this issue?

BTW it's a Kitchenaid KHMC 1857bss model....  Zero luck in finding a repair manual.

Check your model number? This number is for a microwave only - not a MW/convection combo. To answer your question, though, no belts - the fan is connected directly to the motor shaft. Access typically requires pulling the unit, removing the wrapper etc. Lots of screws and a couple of layers to get through. Voltage to the heating element and motor will be supplied via seperate circuits. Troubleshooting will include confirming voltage to motor and checking motor windings. You can probably check both from the board in the front. With a better number we could get a little further down the path
