I found a forum answer where it says that the problem lies with large loads like towels and blankets, etc. causing the cycles not to advance. It recommends to replace Part W10754551A.  That part does not exist when I type it in to search for.

That’s because that isn’t a part number for a replaceable part, that’s the part number for a Technical Service Pointer from Whirlpool describing a possible fix for the problem you’re describing. But only if your serial number falls in a certain range, it recommends replacing the main control board.

I would suggest checking the suspension rods first though. If you press down on the corners of the tub and it feels bouncy/springy, like when the shocks go out on a car, then they need to be replaced. This will cause the machine to get out of balance easily in the spin
