GE TCS18PADBLBS Replaced defrost tstat now compressor wont kick on

Fridge was getting warm, freezer was also. Pulled the floor of the fridge up and found the evap coils caked in ice. The Defrost tstat had started to bulge at the top. I replaced it with a new one and now nothing is kicking on. Evap fan, condenser fan, compressor all are not on. Lights are on.  Pretty sure all was running last night when I took it apart.
