electrolux e23cs78eps0 dispenser panel locked

We have an electrolux e23cs78eps0 side by side,  the Lock button has been coming on whenever you open and

close the freezer side door, deactivating it was as simple as pressing the lit lock button and it would unlock.

 

Now it won't unlock, button remains lit, we cannot dispense ice/water any help of what to look for appreciated.

Check the wiring at the top or bottom of the door for a broken or frayed wire that might be causing your issue.
