Upright freezer not freezing: Kenmore 253.22442410

Freezer is approximately 3 years old. Will not cool at all although does have power and light.

Is the fan motor running inside the box?  If it's not running go around the back and lay down looking into the machine compartment where the compressor is located. Lay down and look in there and you will find the defrost timer. There's a little round knob on it. Turn it to the right and see if the compressor and fan motor takes off running.

Report back your findings. While you are down there feel the compressor and report back if it's hot or not.

If not me someone else will surely help you out.

had one of these same unit 253.22442412 start device clicking in & out, APP calling it a controller.
