no water no ice

I have a GE hotpoint side x side model# HSH25GFBB BBthat the ice maker and water dispenser are not working. The ice maker stopped and then the water  dispenser stopped a couple of weeks latter. After I tested the inlet valve the water dispenser worked for a while than stopped. Although there was continuity I thought it might have failed mechanically so it was replaced still nothing. There is water to the valve from the filter and the water pressure seems good. any help would be great.

just a thought but if you havent already checked  the door switch for the freezer section. you may want to check that to make sure its working properly and the light goes out also.  If the light stays on it may be causing the temps to be wrmer in the fz section and then causing the ice maker to not properly harvest ice.  also if the fridge thinks the door is open when its closed because of a bad switch, it will also shut down the dispenser also. Not totaly sure if this will apply to your model but most refrigerators work this way so you cant dispense water and ice when the door is open.   I hope this is helpful.  good luck
