Worked great for 3 years, now not drying. Does lint need to be cleaned from drying system?

The users manual for this machine doesn't indicate the need for cleaning lint.

Does the unit heat at all, or is it just slow to dry?

Does the drying performance improve if you have fewer items in there, or if you choose timed dry vs. sensed dry?

Thanks for the reply. The unit seems to heat like it always has, and drying performance does not change with fewer items. Also, there is no difference between timed dry vs. sensed dry, the items still come out wet.

The performance of the dryer depends on cold water being available - has anything changed regarding the water supply?

The cold water is important because that's how moister from your clothes is being removed through a reaction between cold water and hot air inside the condensing unit. So if your washer has been relocated and attached to a hot water pipe, the dryer will not work.

Have you seen any double digits error codes lately? Something like F9, FC, Fd, FE... etc.

Hello Friend,
Two possible causes.
Try cleaning the fabric softener residue off of the temperature/moisture sensor. The other cause could be the thermostat has failed.
These might help
