Crosley cfuf14lwo freezer over-temp (+service manual request)

My crosley upright freezer has the "over-temp" light on and, indeed, food is getting a little squishy inside.

First things first, I went to clean the coils, and turns out there are none (apparently they are built into the walls or somesuch shenanigans)

Next I checked the condenser inside.  Totally iced up!
The fan is running, and the defroster heater resistance is about 40ohms.  Don't know what the exact measurement is supposed to be, but it's neither shorted nor open, so that passes the sniff test in my book.

Now I'm wondering if the brain box isn't telling it to turn on.  Anybody know where that circuitry is mounted on a Crosley?  Better yet, anybody have a link to service manual?

Condenser coils, (usually on the outside back of unit), is built into the walls of this freezer - meaning no access if they leak.  Sides of cabinet will be warm when working correctly.

The inside coils are not a condenser, that is the evaporator that removes the heat from inside and transfers it to the condenser to transfer heat from interior to outside.

Did you check the defrost heater directly at its two connectors directly - if so then there is a possibility that the defrost t-stat/terminator is bad.

Or the main control board is bad - the defrost control and complete controls for this freezer is the temp control/display in the door
