Dryer not heating, timer not functioning properly

I followed your video in the hopes it would help solve my Kenmore/Whirlpool dryer issue of no heat and timer not advancing with no luck (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0mo_gw0p2CI). Do you have any other suggestions? The dryer worked great and now moved into apartment where it required a 4 prong and the heat on the dryer does not come on. The timer does advance but not accurately. We actually timed a 10 minute cycle twice and it took 22 minutes for the dryer to stop. It never gets hot, when opening the dryer door it continues to run and the dryer light will not work.

I have a feeling if we purchased another dryer it will do the same thing. If you could assist with this issue I would appreciate it.

Please provide a model and serial number as there are many reasons why you're experiencing these symptoms. Unless the appliance cord is wired improperly or you're not getting 240-252 volts at the wall there's not much info we can provide with the limited information you've given us.

If it was working fine in the old location, chances are the cord is wired wrong and/or not getting 240 volts. The dryer will run on 110 volts.the only thing that may be wrong with the dryer itself is a bad door switch
