Kitchen Aid Electric Range KERS202BSS1 Service Manual/Job Aid request

Recommended Posts

Manufacturer: Kitchen Aid
Type of Appliance: Electric Range
Model Number: KERS202BSS1
Have you validated the model number at an online parts site like Repair Clinic? (yes or no): yes
Have you watched the video on how to search for manuals and have you searched the Downloads section prior to posting this request? (yes or no): yes

Looking for any info I can on this electric range, especially anything with troubleshooting procedures/error codes. Couldn't find much here, but hopefully it's similar to another model that's got more documentation. Thanks!

Just in case this helps anyone in the future: I was getting an F6-E1 code, which in my case was indicating a bad control/ERC. The broil element was getting turned on and sticking on when Bake was activated (likely a stuck/welded relay on control), leading to this code which refers to "Runaway Temperature"...customer had also noted the oven was getting too hot in general when it would work, but usually would result in some strange fault code and shut off within a 1/2 hour of turning on the oven (it wasn't saying F6-E1 to the customer, I only saw that once I accessed the diagnostics)...
