Bosch Avantixx dryer won't start

Hi,

My Bosch Avantixx tumble dryer won't start. When I press start, it beeps twice and then nothing. I tried recycling power and it helped a couple of times (interchangeably) at first, but now it doesn't anymore. Any ideas? In general, what type of problems does recycling power help with? Thank you in advance.

Power cycling can help clear software issues if they exist. A couple of generic things to look for might be a broken belt or a bad door switch. Can't offer much more info without a model and serial number though.
