Kenmore 665.13743K603 Dishwasher Is In Blatant Defiance of All Known Norms

Our dishwasher is sometimes leaving dark specks on glasses on the top.  Dishes on the bottom, no.  And not every time.  And it seems to be a glasses thing, rather than other things that might be put on the top rack.  Anyway, the top arm is not clogged. The relay in the bottom seems to be working.  I took off the bottom arm and unscrewed everything and cleaned the filter and got some stuff out of the bottom, including lifting up a little rubber flap to get at anything behind it.   Still, black specks more often than not.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

Are you running a short cycle by chance? Sometimes not running a full cycle can cause this. Also, make sure the spray arms  are not clogged and are fully spraying.
