What if membrane and control board ok on GY397LXUS02?

Problem: Only broil, cook/hold, cancel and clock buttons work.

Got a refurb control panel and it did not change a thing.  Tested ohms on bake element and temp sensor, ok.

Thought I tried a new membrane months ago and got no difference...can't remember though.

Is there a way to test the membrane before I try another one, what other issues could be at play?    thanks

WP8507P390-60 control board

WPW10207928 user interface

Going to one of those 2, i personally replace both at the same time. Never heard of a refurbished control panel.  Usually refurbished  means used.

If you try to bake, is it that the display doesn't change or just that it doesn't bake?

FWIW, I got screwed over on a board rebuild once and that was the first and last time I tried one.

There's a place in the midwest that rebuilt a board for me. For about $200+FedEx I got back a board that was still broken, just differently.

Yeah boards are fine, he said control panel referring to the user interface i would assume?  I probably shouldn't have assumed, but if your buttons aren't responding you first replace the user interface if your going to do one at a time.

Thanks for your replies....

By  "control panel" I meant the control board WP8507P390-60.

By "membrane" I meant the  "user interface" WPW10207928

So, Problem Restated: Only broil, cook/hold, cancel and clock buttons work.  There is no beep or activity when the other buttons are pushed.

Got a refurbished control board WP8507P390-60 from Corecentric Solutions and it behaved exactly the same.

I think I tried a new user interface" WPW10207928 years ago and got no difference as well, can't remember exactly

Before I try another new user interface I would like to test the one I have, are schematics available?

I also opened the cook top and now see the door switch/plunger, a latch assembly/door lock, and a switch limit WP7450P034-60 ....

....might any of these inputs to the control board cause my symptoms?
